There was a time when an E36 M3 was not acknowledged as the modern classic it is today and many examples experienced a bit of neglect. Even those with the foresight to recognise this was a modern classic in the making and cherished their cars - you can get away from the fact that the early models are now 28 years old and even the youngest examples have had their 22nd birthday!
Today, the E36 is on the rise and the true analogue muscular performance of this car is rightly reverred. Don't forget the engine in this car is effectively half the motor in the Mclaren F1!
Sadly the ravages of time and our intemperate climate does not take any prisoners on even the most cossetted body shell which is typcially 25 years old and increasingly we been asked to restore the underside of the body work of these classic M3's to the condition they were as they left the factory.
This is not a 5 minute job, but we are pleased to say the results lead to a car looking as good underneath as many of the shiny examples look on top.
